Girl Abroad: Seattle.

Hi y’all from the US of A….

Okay, maybe my American slang leaves something to be desired 😉

Anyway, I took a road trip with Ayla from High on Healthy, and ended up in Seattle, Washington!!

Not without stopping at a Trader Joe’s, first though.

I have to say, the bar selection wasn’t as great as I thought that it would be, but we were in a tiny town near the border, so that could have been why. We grabbed some lunch and some bars, and gunned it to….Marysville?? We ended up getting lost slightly detoured, and stopped at a Starbucks so that we could charge Ayla’s phone/GPS and get some directions to the nearest Wal-Mart. Once we found the Wal-mart, we bought a phone charger, then drove the rest of the way to Seattle!!

For dinner, we decided to go to a place that we thought we’d heard of in other blogs: Thrive. Let’s just say, it didn’t really live up to the hype that we thought there was…. the food was alright, but the staff’s ‘holier than thou’ attitude and the prices left a lot to be desired.

After that, and a nice walk along the pier, we went back to our hotel room and slept like babies 😉

Today we will hopefully find a better Trader Joe’s, and maybe a Target or two.

Q: Have you ever been to the United States?

Ever been to Seattle?

A x

I’m never overly impressed with TJ’s bar selection. WF definitely wins that award. Glad you had fun though 🙂

I can’t tell you how crushed I am to read the foodbar wasn’t up to par! I have no Tj’s or Wholefoods, and am always hyping these places up!! At least I won’t feel jealous! HAve a great time!
