Girl Abroad: Arrival.

Hola, chicas!! Or should I say ‘Hey, eh?’ 😉

I’m currently in Vancouver, Canada!! You actually have no idea how excited I am to be here. After months – well, years actually – of wanting to travel to Canada, I am finally here!! Lots of exclamation points….just trying to show you how excited I am 😛

So, after an hour or two of getting through customs and waiting on baggage, I finally met the gorgeous Ayla from High on Healthy. After we got lost a couple of times, we were on our way to Naam, a vegetarian restaurant near downtown Vancouver.

Here’s some food porn photos to keep you occupied:

Sesame fries with miso gravy.

Naam Dragon Bowl.

The food was great, but we were more excited by what we were going to do next….visiting the holy grail that is Wholefoods. I have no photos from that unfortunately, because we were too busy ogling drooling looking at the wonderful selection of health foods….

Ayla’s working today, so I’m going to relax, get used to the time difference, study, and sleep off the rest of this jet lag. A seventeen hour time difference really gets to a girl 😉

Q: Ever been abroad? Did you get used to the time difference quickly or was jet lag a real b word? 😉

A x

I can’t wait to have a 17 hour jet lag too! Seriously, I’m kind of excited about that.

    States. Tomorrow. Hopefully.
